Definition

Extragonadal malignant germ cell tumors and teratomas  are extremely rare  in the head and neck  areas, and are  most frequently  described in the sinonasal and nasopharynx, mainly in adults and neonates or older infants, respectively.  Aicardi and Dandy–Walker syndromes OMIM:304050, OMIM:220200 have been associated with head and neck yolk sac tumors. 1
So fa, there are not any genetic investigations reported on such lesions,
