Definition
Primary hematolymphoid tumors of the genitourinary tract are uncommon but include mainly B-cell lineage lymphomas; rarely T-cell lymphomas, plasma cell neoplasms, and myeloid neoplasms. Details are described in the 5th edition (2022) WHO Urinary and Male Genital Tumours. However, the clinicopathologic features, genetic profiles and prognosis are like hematopoietic neoplasms occurring in other sites (see also the 5th edition (2022) WHO Haematolymphoid Tumours).
