Definition
Molecular data on mucosal melanoma of the male genital tract and urinary system are limited. Generally, melanocytic lesions involving the kidney/urinary system most commonly represent metastases rather than primary tumors. However, rarely, melanoma may present in the scrotum or penis .1,2 No BRAF or KIT mutations were identified in a series of penile melanomas. 3
