Epidemiology

Only 2 cases to date, a 62-year-old male patient with a refractory anemia with excess of blasts (RAEB), and a patient with a treatment related myelodysplastic syndrome evolving to overt leukaemia (Davis et al., 1984; Olney et al., 2002).

Prognosis

The patient with RAEB died one month after diagnosis.
